Rep. Rebimbas honors veterans

Rep. Rosa Rebimbas joined U.S. Navy Veterans Bob Burns and Ron Fischer, Naugatuck Mayor Bob Mezzo, former Naugatuck Mayor Joan Taf, Dorothy Knowles, and State Sen. Joe Crisco in honoring heros past and present during a Veteran’s Day ceremony at Maple Hill School Tuesday afternoon.  

Rebimbas thanked veterans from all the armed forces for their service in both peace and war time, especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives in defense of our country. 

“The men and women who answered the call and put their lives on hold to serve in the military deserve our respect,” Rep. Rebimbas said after the ceremony. “It’s fitting we pause to remember their service and sacrifice on this day.”
