Bravo Rosa. Someone who is thinking sensibly. While I do not condone this new phenomena of "sexting" I am glad to see that our legislators realize that ruining the life of an immature youth with a felony and sex offender registration does not serve the public safety. I urge Rep Rebimbas, and anyone who may read my comment, to read the Editorial in last Sundays [4/4/10] Hartford Courant about the need to revamp the Sex Offender Registration Laws to better serve the Public Safety.["All Sex Offenders are not Equal" Hartford Courant-Opinion Section, Sunday 4/4/10].

Dear Naugatuck Resident,

Please forgive the informal greeting as you did not leave a contact name or number on the Website.

Thank you for your concern regarding the upcoming photography exhibit “The Art of Politics.” I, too, am deeply concerned about the budget issues facing our state and before accepting the invitation I made sure it was not going to be another expense to our already burdened taxpayers.

The exhibit is a personal project by the photographer, Tim Coffey, and as such bears no cost to the state. It is entirely funded by him and according to Mr. Coffey was “undertaken to shed a positive light on our leaders.”

I was honored to be included in the exhibit which also features Representatives from both parties, and both former and current local and national political figures with ties to our state.

The people of Naugatuck benefit from increased exposure of their elected Representative in an exhibit profiling elected officials that have a positive impact on our state.

If you have any future questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me at your convenience, I will be glad to answer.

Sincerely,
Rep. Rosa C. Rebimbas

Welcome home Bob........My wife and I thankyou for serving and thank the Lord that you are safely home with family. Your grandfather Geno and I served together in Germany at Sembach AB in the early 60's. Our tour of duty at that time was much different than yours. Enjoy that beer at the VFW

Bob, you were a consumate pro(for a young guy) when you worked with me at Sears in Waterbury a few years back. It is obvious your professionalism carried on in your career in the military. We are so very proud of your service to our great country; but, mostly so proud to call you a friend.

Sincerely, Bob Darigis
